Prométhéa launches its platform for collecting donations
Prométhéa, an association that promotes corporate sponsorship for culture and heritage, launched a brand-new crowdgiving platform on Monday 29 November: Prométhéaforculture! In concrete terms, this is the first digital platform that allows the public and companies to support a cultural project in just a few clicks. This initiative is supported by the John Cockerill Foundation, Triodos Bank, Extia, Allen & Overy and the National Lottery players.
During this evening at the Royal Museums of Art and History, Mrs. Bénédicte Linard (Minister of Culture and Vice-President of the Government of the Walloon Federation), Jean-Marc Galand (Head of Cabinet of Valérie de Bue, Walloon Minister of Heritage), Simon Thielen (Advisor on urban planning and heritage to Pascal Smet) and Olivier Alsteens (COO of the National Lottery), reminded the audience that the cultural sector is becoming stronger and more resilient thanks to the support of all, companies, individuals, enthusiasts...
Maison Hannon was honored to be part of the first campaigns of the platform, alongside Women In Art, Amusea Balades Littéraires Urbaines and the Charleroi Museum of Photography. We were able to present our restoration project: the façade of the Maison Hannon.
