The Maison Hannon now hosts the Centre international pour l’étude du XIXᵉ siècle

The Maison Hannon is pleased to host the Centre international pour l’étude du XIXe siècle on its premises this spring. With over forty years of activity behind it, the Centre now takes root in Saint-Gilles, an environment in tune with its historical and artistic focus. This marks the beginning of a close collaboration grounded in a shared ambition: to connect heritage, the arts, and academic research around the culture of the long 19th century.

This partnership will soon take shape through a series of joint initiatives (talks, exhibitions, and publishing projects) aimed at a wide audience curious about this dynamic and complex era. By bringing together the complementary roles of a museum and a research centre, the Maison Hannon affirms its role as a space for critical inquiry, knowledge-sharing, and cultural engagement in the heart of Brussels.
