Echoes of Dreams. Symbolism in Brussels
From 29 August 2025, the Maison Hannon presents Echoes of Dreams. Symbolism in Brussels, a major exhibition bringing together 80 exceptional works: paintings, drawings, vases, sculptures and photographs. Conceived as an inner journey, it explores the tensions, hopes and dreams of a generation in search of meaning. The exhibition, spread over five themed rooms, follows the stages of a personal quest, from modern disenchantment to cosmic contemplation. The works of Khnopff, Delville, Rousseau, Frédéric and Gallé interact in an Art Nouveau setting, revealing the richness of Belgian symbolism. The exhibition showcases three major Belgian collections (Gillion-Crowet — Urban Brussels, Atelier symboliste and a private collection).
