Half-en-Half ・ Musée Horta ・ Maison Hannon

07.12.2023

Themed tours, a friendly get-together, and an acoustic concert

As part of the series dedicated to Brussels' food heritage, Half-en-half, feeding the city invites you to an unprecedented exploration of the Horta Museum and the Maison Hannon on Thursday, December 7th, focused on etiquette and lifestyle during the Belle Époque.

At the Horta Museum, immerse yourself in the domestic spaces and art of receptions of the time. This tour will take you through all the spaces dedicated to welcoming guests, from the cellars to the dining room, not forgetting the kitchen.

After this immersion, head to the Maison Hannon! This architectural gem, designed by the architect Jules Brunfaut for the Belgian-French couple Marie Debard and Edouard Hannon, merges Belgian Art Nouveau with French Art Nouveau in a universe that is both symbolic and dreamlike.

The Maison Hannon team invites you to discover it through a thematic guided tour, addressing the issues of etiquette and French savoir-vivre.

After the guided tour, enjoy a refreshing drink in one of the magnificent spaces, followed by an acoustic concert by Brecht Ameel held in the grand hall of the house, surrounded by the majestic mural. A truly unique experience awaits you!
